Fashionable Lady

I made this image for the Three Muses blog challenge - this weeks theme is Fashionable Ladies.  I can't imagine dressing like this but at one time this was the fashion.

  3. Wonderful layering on your picture and on her, don't those corseted wastes just make you want to scream...I never would have made it in the 19th century...beautiful work.

  4. I've quickly come to know I'll always find something beautifully crafted here, Jean. No, I can't imagine dressing like your lady...nor can I imagine how they laundered and ironed their voluminous gowns! Thanks for sharing your talent!

  5. Fashionable indeed! I'm worried, though, that those blackbirds are up to no good. Maybe they're going to peck off the buttons.
