Apps - iColorama, Repix, Decima8, Snapseed and Procreate
This is the first in a series that I completed during the winter. I was interested in working with patterns. I had a lot of craft paper in a closet so I took photos of the papers so I had digital images of them. I decided to pair the patterns with some of the beautiful photos of women I have collected from different purchased kits and creative commons. I wanted a soft, airy, painterly feeling for the finished work. I used masks on the patterns to just use portions and layered them with the faces, same as if I was manually making a collage.
