Keeper of the Crows

Multi-layered image with lots of stuff!!  Went for a walk this AM and the crows were out in large numbers, very nosy and oh so bold.  They were attacking my neighbors garbage and fighting with a hawk.  I walked right up to them to say they were very naughty birds - they didn't care. I do love them.

Haunted Lighthouse

Haunted Lighthouse - Perkins Island Light Maine - just back from Maine and thinking about a ghost beckoning sailors onto the surf & rocks surrounding the lighthouse. Maybe this girl died at this island lighthouse a long, long time ago and now she is looking for some company!!!

Challenge Assignment – Week 2

Interior photo with landscape thru window.  Extracted the girl from another pic.  Did selective B&W on the interior keeping the landscape in color.  Added the girl and changed her to B&W.  Used Paree Erica textures 02 and 15 which I desaturated and used a blending mode.  Used textured brushes 2478 and 2500. Used square edge effects 25.   This is the weekly challenge from my on line Photoshop Artistry Course.   Lots of fun and lots to learn and I have been using Photoshop for a long time.

Secret Garden

A little garden and a magic pumpkin house hidden in the woods.

Lighthouse

I took this picture at Portland Head Lighthouse and wanted to do something artsy with it.  Make it look painted and give it a post card feel. I added the sea gull - some filters, textures, blending modes and the white border - exactly the look I was going for. I guess I can't always be making my dark images ; )

The Blood Moon

The Blood Moon. In this, the time of first frosts and final harvests, this is a time of letting go and clearing away. This is a time of inner cleansing to make way for the justice of karma and a time for seeking shelter in friendship and community. This is a time for moving beyond sacrifice to accept your place in the endless spiral of karma. This is a most appropriate time to lament all your losses.

NYC

A little NYC graffiti and a girl and her dog. I love old walls with graffiti - always makes a good background for any image.  Photoshop and lots of layers, blending modes and other neat stuff.
