Atlantic City

Atlantic City - Still into the grunge and vintage look. Also seeing Bruce on Jimmy Fallon last night got me thinking about "Meet Me Tonight In Atlantic City".  I live on the Jersey Shore about 40 miles or so north of Atlantic City. This image is a major compilation - the top is two old vintage postcards blended together the middle the ocean and the bottom right a life boat from the beach and of course my bathing beauty. Also a number of textures and blending modes to give it that "old" postcard look. I remember walking on that boardwalk and I remember that Planters shop - Mr. Peanut would be outside - such a long time ago.

Two New Images

The Flower Girl - looks like I forgot to post yesterday so today you get a two for.  These two couldn't be more different.  Above my pretty little flower girl below Night Moves - way more of a grunge look and feel.  I am sick of the pretty and want to get back to a more dirty look - for now!

Challenge 17 - Free To Fly

I know a few friends who have overcome overwhelming odds and are living their lives and are happy. This is for them. My image actually turned out to be 7X7 and I can't wait to get a print.  I sure am busy today working in Photoshop and having fun.  It is sunny but cold and windy a good day to stay in.

Titanic

I have no idea where I got the image of the two women but I thought they looked like they were planning a sea cruise. I thought maybe the 1900's or so and decided to pair them with the Titanic. Morbid, maybe, but I like to tell a story with my images if I can and this sure does.

Dancing Queen

Grey Day Atlantic

I live about 10 minutes or less from the beach - I used to live right on Ocean Avenue across from the ocean. This image is a compilation of 2 photos I took on the beach in Bay Head. I wanted the girl on the beach but decided to add the dune for balance. Also added some textures and blending modes - nothing fancy.

Shoot The Moon

Lots of extracts, layers, textures, birds and blending modes. I thought I had lost my edge I was uninspired until last night I saw a car commercial with a moon and a highway and this is what I made this AM.  You never can tell where you will get inspiration - even a TV commercial
