Boundaries 2

So is this how it is with no boundaries.  Just unlimited possibilities or as in my book unlimited responsibilities??  Can you give too much of yourself??

Boundaries 1

So I just finished reading a book and the main characters were 2 girl friends and the one kept telling the other "you have no boundaries".  Meaning she could never say no and her life was out of control with all that she has taken on.  She is always trying to please everyone.  I found this particularly interesting so I want to explore boundaries in digital art.  I think saying no is great and all but sometimes boundaries can be too restrictive - my idea of tight boundaries a blindfold and being roped in - even if it is in a boxing ring ; )

A Bugs Life

I really do not like insects of any kind except maybe a lady bug. This AM as I was heading out for my walk there was a winged insect, probably a moth, stuck on the roof of my husbands car.  It was upside down with it's little bug feet kicking and it wings were stuck in some moisture.  I really felt bad so I got him/her upright.  That seemed to do the trick because it scurried down off the top of the car and when I came back home it was gone. I feel I did my good deed for today and I hope that someday if someone finds me upside down with my little bug legs kicking they help me get upright.  My digital image for today - A Bugs Life!

The Solstice

The Solstice and the wheel keeps turning. The summer solstice occurs when Earth's axis is the most tilted toward the sun - the angle is known as "maximum axial tilt." As a consequence of this specific orientation, the sun rises at its most northeasterly point along the horizon and also sets at its most northwesterly point in the northern hemisphere. I borrowed the figure from John Waterhouse but she looks right at home in this image!

Season of the Witch

There was nothing on TV the other night so I was flipping through the channels and found one of my favorite movies Practical Magic.  I love this movie and have seen it so many times so of course I watched it again.  It was made in 1998 how time flies.  Anyway they play the song Season of the Witch in the movie and this is my digital rendering of that season.  I love my witches ; )

Mushies

I walk every morning and we have had a lot of rain lately so it is very damp.  I couldn't believe all the mushrooms/toadstools this morning.  Here is a digital composite of a bunch of them.  They are so interesting and probably deadly too. Now You See Me

My latest digital work Now You See Me.  I just saw the move with the same name and really liked it a lot.  I do love any movie that has tarot cards and magic.  Also in the end it had a carousel and I have been thinking a lot about it - nothing to do with the move but my version of Now You See Me - do you see me!
