 This is my video of the best of my digital work for 2021. I do this every year and it is fun to look back on a body of work and see what you created. I didn't produce a heck of a lot this year hopefully next year will be better.

Homage to Hopper

The Waiting Room - a digital image.

I made this image for a FB group that was having a Hopper challenge. My original photo and my inspiration are below.

I learned a lot about Hopper and his art, especially about his figures that they are always isolated - there may be more than one figure but they have a sense of aloneness. He also uses kind of neutral/muted colors, very flat. In his work we have the feeling of looking in on a scene but not being part of it. This was a fun challenge.

This is my original image taken in the doctor's office.

This is an original Hopper and I used parts of it for some of my background.

Another original Hopper I used the flowers but added a different table. I wanted something on that side for balance.
